Today, November 11, 2004, I offer a view of an American Military Cemetary near Duxford, England and remember that, in war, many young men and women--in this case, aircrew members--die.  Posted by Hello

"War is a force that gives us meaning"... WW II certainly did.
I had just heard that between 5 am and 11 pm on armistice day, over 5000 soliders died. 9 million died in the conflict. But they count the wrong ones: the dead don't care. There were probably 10 times that number deformed, maimed or suffering chronic pain from WW I.
